When you really love someone you don't want to believe that they're a bad person so you convince yourself that they aren't bad.

When you really love someone you don't want to believe that they're a bad person so you convince yourself that they aren't bad.

How do you convince yourself?

1.Well, you blame yourself for their actions. Blaming yourself makes you the bad guy instead of them.
2. You make excuses for what they've done. You blame their past, their problems or something else for their actions. Again, blaming something else TAKES the blame off of them. Your excuse is that their past made them do it , someone else made them do it, their ex made them do it, their problems made them do it or something else made them do it, therefore it isn't their fault.  Now, they're the good guy and that something that made them do it is the problem.
3. Since they don't always treat you wrong you think that something you've done caused them to treat you wrong AND they might even blame you for their actions. Again, the blame isn't being placed on them. You or something else has taken the BLAME for their actions.

And since you've blamed yourself you feel that it's your JOB to fix them or the issue.

How are their ACTIONS your fault? How are their choices your fault? It isn't but you or them will convince you that it is your fault.

That's how you convince yourself that they aren't a bad person.

BLAME them for their actions. Blame them for their bad choices. When they show you their true colors don't try to paint a pretty picture with it.
